What's happening now?

Due to the financial impact of COVID-19, the SW Multnomah Blvd / Garden Home Road Intersection Safety Project has been put on hold until more funding can be secured. As we know more, we will provide updates on this webpage.

Project Background

The Portland Bureau of Transportation, through a funding partnership with Washington County, plans to improve the intersection of SW Multnomah Boulevard, Garden Home Road and 69th Avenue to reduce crashes, improve sight distance, address queueing issues, and provide safer, more comfortable pedestrian and bicycle facilities.

Project Funding

This project has received $1 million from  Washington County MSTIP and $1.2 million  City of Portland Transportation System Development Charges. PBOT is actively exploring additional funding options for this project.
