Important Kaiser Permanente Sticker Hunt Update!
Due to heavy rains these last few weeks we are experiencing issues with the Kaiser Permanente Sticker Hunt sidewalk decals placed along the routes and are aware that several are missing. We are working hard to get replacements down once the weather gets warmer. You may also notice sticker signs posted on poles in some locations in addition or in place of a sidewalk decal.
If you aren’t able to find a sidewalk sticker at a featured location, you can still award yourself the sticker for visiting it and redeem your reward at Portland Nursery when you have visited all six locations. You can share with us any missing decals by emailing PortlandSundayParkways@portlandoregon.gov. We hope you still have fun exploring and discovering new parks and businesses to enjoy!
Explore Portland, find stickers, win a prize!
The Kaiser Permanente Sticker Hunt lets you keep the 15th Anniversary of Sunday Parkways rolling all summer long. With five self-guided Sticker Hunts, each set in a different neighborhood, you can play any day from June 1 through August 31. Complete the Sticker Hunt and receive a complimentary 4” garden herb.
How to play
- Visit all six featured locations on the map. Look for a sidewalk sticker at each location.
- Do the activity listed on each sidewalk sticker, then attach the matching small sticker to your map.
- Take your completed map to any Portland Nursery location and receive a complimentary 4” herb plant.
- PLAY, CONNECT, MOVE, NOURISH, DISCOVER, and THRIVE all summer long!
Community members who live near Sticker Hunt routes will be mailed a kit directly to their door in early June, so keep your eyes out! Don’t live along the route? No problem! We will have Kaiser Permanente Sticker Hunt kits available for pick-up at local businesses including Portland Nursery. Visit kp.org/sundayparkways for locations and be sure to check their business hours before you head out.

Exploring your neighborhood greenways
The Sunday Parkways Sticker Hunt routes feature neighborhood greenways which are quiet, slow streets that are easy to walk, stroll, roll, bike, or play in. There are 110 miles of low-traffic streets that have been converted into “local access only” to restrict cut-through traffic.

Get your body MOVING!
If the last two years have been difficult, know that you’re not alone. Also know that one of the easiest ways to boost your mood (and get your mojo back!) is simply to get your body moving. Inside this kit you’ll find some fresh inspiration to help you PLAY, CONNECT, MOVE, and NOURISH. Consider it your own prescription to thrive in the way that feels great to you. We hope to see you out there!
- PLAY Playing can relieve stress, stimulate the brain, improve your connection to others, and keep you feeling energetic. Play with us this summer!
- CONNECT Connecting with friends and family can cultivate resiliency after experiencing hardship. It can also strengthen your immune system, lower anxiety and depression, increase self-esteem, and push the happy meter up.
- MOVE Moving often, at least 30 minutes of activity each day, can protect you against severe COVID-19, reduce your risk of heart diseases, improve your mood, help control your weight, strengthen your bones and muscles, and improve your sleep.
- NOURISH Nourishing your body is important. What you eat has a crucial impact on your physical and emotional health. That’s why our doctors, nurses, therapists, and dietitians are passionate about growing, cooking, and eating wholesome food for a healthier life.
Eat your colors!
Not only does eating a rainbow result in a surprisingly artistic plate, but colorful foods like fruits and vegetables give us the essential nutrients, phytochemicals, and antioxidants that may help us thrive for more healthy years.
Looking for more adventures?
We got you!
In 2021 Portland Sunday Parkways curated a series of short neighborhood walk and bike maps in partnership with the SmartTrips program connect Portlanders to parks, local shopping districts, and neighborhood greenways---especially those designed to be bike- and walk-friendly streets.
These routes are a great way to explore new neighborhoods or find a new favorite way to get around your own neighborhood.
