Transportation Highlight: Transportation Wallet in Parking Districts

Classes and Activities
Join Portland Sunday Parkways for a weekly Transportation Highlight. This week a PBOT staff member will dive into PBOT's Transportation Wallet in Parking Districts program.
3:00 pm 4:00 pm

Join us for another Transportation Highlight class this Friday!  This session is part of an all-summer long initiative to share information about walking, biking, and rolling in our city. Hear from Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) experts as they discuss the behind-the-scenes of how transportation programs, plans and projects work in our city.

The Transportation Wallet in Parking Districts is a program that leverages parking permit surcharge fees to offset the cost of rides and credits for use on TriMet, Portland Streetcar, BIKETOWN, and Lime, Bird, and Spin e-scooter companies. This bundled package, known as a Transportation Wallet, is one of PBOT’s strategies to manage parking demand in two densely populated neighborhoods while increasing use of transportation options other than driving alone.

Taking place on Friday at 3 PM. To join the live class on Friday, August 13th, go to our Sunday Parkways Facebook page or join directly through zoom. Click here to join via zoom.

This free event is brought to you by #SundayParkwaysatHome, presented by Kaiser Permanente.
