Join Marissa Perez Wednesday 9/9 from 4-4:45pm for a SUMMER themed zine workshop. You can expect: self portraits, eyes-closed drawings, and other art prompts!
Open to all who are 15 and under. RSVP on the IPRC Facebook page. $20 suggested donation can be made on the IPRC *donate* page. No one turned away for lack of funds.
This workshop is part of our collab with @portlandsundayparkways and Kaiser Permanente to create a city wide community zine called Portland’s Got Talent! This is the first class in the Zine series. Check our website and social media for dates on the upcoming classes.

Note: We’re accepting zine page submissions until 9/30! Workshop participation not required. Pages can be emailed to eao@iprc.org or sent via snail mail to the IPRC to be scanned.

More about Independent Publishing Resource Center:

The Independent Publishing Resource Center (IPRC) is a Portland-based nonprofit that provides affordable access to space, tools, and resources for creating independently published media and artwork, building community and identity through maling. Over 22 years, we've served 35,000 community members, providing resources to create chapbooks, art, prints, and zines. We provide workshops in generative writing, letterpress, risograph, screen printing, graphic design, book binding, and calligraphy. We believe that healthy communities create together and that access to art-making is critical to well-being. The vision of a more inclusive and vibrant Portland arts ecosystem is what we strive to contribute to.
