Feeling a bit tense these days? Clear some space on your floor, and let’s calm our bodies and minds. Take a break from the go-go-go, 24/7 world and tune inward to calm your nervous system. Kristin will guide you through a Somatics lesson to help you restore and recover from the stress of life. Somatics is great for all bodies! It gives you the tools to enhance pain relief, sleep patterns, mood, digestion and more. Feeling is believing!  

What is Somatics?  

 Somatic Educator Kristin Jackson (she/her) will teach you more about Somatic movement. A somatic movement, generally speaking, is one which is performed consciously with the intention of focusing on the internal experience of the movement rather than the external appearance or result of the movement. Somatics movements are very gentle and enjoyed by teens to seniors.  Part of the class will be taught in a chair and part on the floor, so all abilities are welcome.
