An Art Class with Bustin Barriers hosted by Sydney Toops  

Join today's art class lead by Sydney from Bustin Barriers who will walk you through a fun art activity that uses everyday kitchen materials! 

What materials will you need?  

  • 1 cup of flour 

  • ½ cup of salt 

  • ½ cup of cinnamon 

  • ¾ cup very warm water 

  •  Wax paper 

  • Straw 

  • String 

  • Rolling pin (optional)  

  • Cookie Cutter (optional)  

Instructions  

Step 1: Mix the flour, salt and cinnamon in a bowl  

Step 2: Add the warm water 

Step 3: Mix for 5 minutes or until a dough-like consistency 

Step 4: Make a ball the size of a golf ball and put it onto the wax paper 

Step 5: Use your hands or cookie cutters to make them into shapes 

Step 6: Use straw to make a hole at the top 

Step 7: Let dry for 24-28 hours, flip over every few hours 

Step 8: Cut and tie a piece of string through hole  

Step 9: Enjoy your masterpiece
