Walle Brown does a one handed back flip on stage with a rust colored curtain behind him

Walle Brown is back with his second class at Sunday Parkways! We'll combine some of the house dance and breakdance moves we learned last month and on Monday into this hot skill session!

House, Breakin', and their roots:
To be clear, the cultural legacy of house stems from African American culture in Chicago and breakin is rooted in the African American and Latino (Predominately Puerto Rican) cultural enclaves of New York City. Both styles are have proliferated throughout the globe and are thriving as interculturally relevant forms of self-expression.
