Well known Portland bicycling advocate, leader of the Portland Black Girls Do Bike chapter and Forge Yoga & Pilates Fitness coach will be joining us this week as to takeover Sunday Parkways. She will start the week with some Yin Yoga!
What is Yin Yoga?
Yin Yoga: A slow paced style of yoga, in which we hold asanas (postures) for 3-5 minutes. Yin yoga stretches and targets both the deep connective tissues between the muscles, and the fascia throughout the body. The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility.
