Sunderland RV Safe Park (9827 NE Sunderland Ave.)
Site Extension
In collaboration with the Mayor’s office, the Salvation Army, the Port of Portland, and Portland Bureau of Transportation, the Sunderland RV Safe Park site will continue operations through the end of June 2025. This extension will allow a budget decision package to be reviewed and implemented by Portland City Council as part of the FY25-26 budget process that will determine the continuation of service of the beyond the fall timeline. Brandy Westerman, Director of Humanitarian Operations within Portland Solutions, said, “We are grateful to all parties in continuing this dialogue to extend operations at the Sunderland RV Safe Park site. City Council will now have an opportunity to continue funding the site as part of the upcoming budget cycle. We are proud that over 150 people have been served at the location. We look forward to working with City Council in securing ongoing financing of the Sunderland site.”
