Overnight Emergency Shelter Operations

The City of Portland is dedicated to providing safe, supportive spaces for individuals experiencing homelessness through our new emergency shelter operations. These facilities include both overnight and day shelters, designed to meet immediate needs and offer a pathway to stability for our community’s most vulnerable members.

Each shelter is planned and operated to create a welcoming environment, offering essential services and resources. On this page, you’ll find detailed information about each shelter location, including operating hours and a photo of the site.

We are committed to listening to and collaborating with community members to ensure these shelters serve both their participants and the surrounding neighborhoods effectively. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in addressing homelessness and strengthening our community. Explore this page to learn more about our emergency shelters.
