The Portland Bureau of Transportation’s (PBOT) Healthy Blocks permit allows temporary changes to streets to give people more space to stay active safely amid our current public health crisis. Applications for Healthy Blocks permits now open permits will be issued for June 1st on.
The Portland Bureau of Transportation’s (PBOT) Healthy Businesses permit allows temporary changes to streets to give people more space to conduct business safely amid our current public health crisis. Winter permits expire March 31, 2021. Applications for Healthy Businesses permits now open.
The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) has launched the Safe Streets Initiative in response to the Covid-19 public health crisis. Part of this initiative is a Business Toolkit, and this FREE, temporary, 5-minute pickup/drop-off permit to use a designated parking space near your business.
Organizations such as food pantries, schools, or health clinics providing direct services related to Covid-19 may apply to the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) for help with traffic control if you expect a temporary spike in vehicle traffic or other traffic disruptions.
The Pandemic Mobility Support Program was created in an effort to support people in Portland who need to make critical trips during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Companies may sign up with the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) to provide additional resources for permit holders with the Healthy Businesses program--construction materials, design, installation, maintenance, labor, or discounts. Partnerships can be limited to support communities of color.
