Full scholarships are available to Portland residents for "Portland Traffic & Transportation," a noncredit course at Portland State University sponsored by the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT).

If you are buying, selling, or developing a potential brownfield property for reuse that creates community benefit, you may be eligible for a Brownfield Grant. Learn how to apply on this page.

All plots are offered on a sliding scale. We offer up to 90% assistance to gardeners. The discount amount is selected by the gardener based on their need. Plot fees are for the garden season which runs November 1 - October 31 each year.

If you have a project that benefits your community and the environment, you can apply for a Community Watershed Stewardship Program (CWSP) grant of up to $12,000. The two-page pre-application for projects is due January 22, 2024.

Portland Harbor Community Grants support community-led projects and programs about the Portland Harbor Superfund. Grant requests may be up to $75,000. Applications are due by February 21, 2024.

The NW Bike Parking Fund, funded by the Zone M Parking Surcharge, is a cost sharing program to help encourage long-term bike parking facilities in residential, commercial and mixed-use properties.

We work with Portland businesses to identify business needs and eligibility for either our assistance programs or those of our partners, and then help you find the program that fits best.

The Water Bureau works with community partners and local plumbers to offer free water leak repair services for income-qualified homeowners in Portland. Through this program, we can arrange to repair leaking toilets, faucets, or underground water pipes. Sewer repairs are not eligible.
