Report a traffic signal problem

Call Portland Bureau of Transportation’s (PBOT) 24/7 maintenance dispatch to report problems with traffic signals, including physical damage, burnt out signal heads, problems detecting cars or bikes in the intersection, or any other immediate risks.
Report an abandoned bicycle
Service
You can report abandoned bicycles to the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT). Be sure it has been abandoned or hasn't moved in more than 72 hours.
Report an e-scooter
Service
Report a specific incident, such as an improperly parked scooter, or other issues with any motorized, electric scooter found in the Portland area. These issues are submitted to both PBOT and the associated e-scooter companies (Bird, Bolt, Lime and Spin) for resolution.
Illegally parked vehicles in the public right-of-way can be reported 7 days a week during regular business hours to the Parking Enforcement Division at the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT). All other times, contact Police non-emergency at 503-823-3333.
Report found bike
Service
If you see what appears to be an abandoned bike, contact police at the non-emergency number (503-823-3333), to request the bike be taken to the property room as found property.

Request a new streetlight
Service
Request new streetlights from the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT). Our Signals and Street Lighting team processes requests and puts them on a waitlist. As funding becomes available, these are prioritized based on numerous factors. PBOT doesn't have adequate funding to approve all requests.
You must have prior permission to enter city stormwater, sanitary, or sewer systems. Environmental Services issues authorization.

Service
The City's Hearings Office is authorized to review City and Port of Portland ordered towed vehicles. The Hearings Office reviews tows initiated by the following City Bureaus: Portland Bureau of Transportation, Portland Police Bureau, and Portland Parks Bureau.

The Bureau of Transportation has two groups of Construction Inspectors, depending on the type of permit issued:
Streetcar Track Access Permit
Service
If you will be working within 5 feet of the trackway or 10 feet of the overhead contact wire, you will need a Track Access Permit from Portland Streetcar. Currently, there is no fee for the permit, but the permit allows us to collaborate with you and maintain safety for all concerned.
If you already tried to resolve your complaint with the lot operator who issued you a parking penalty notice but were unsuccessful, you may file a complaint to the City of Portland. You must file your complaint no later than 90 days from the mailing date of the first penalty payment letter.
