Current schedule, maps, and explanations of pavement resurfacing and preservation. Yearly preventative maintenance by the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT). For roads in fair or good condition, PBOT crews bring curb ramps to ADA standards then resurface the street.

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will microsurface the street as preventative maintenance and install upgraded ADA ramps along N Michigan Ave between N Fremont and N Rosa Parks Streets.
Construction January 2019 to June 2020
The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) repaved, improved speed deterrence systems, and updated curb ramps along NE 42nd Avenue between NE Wistaria Drive and NE Knott Street.

To improve the safety, accessibility, and comfort for people walking, taking transit and bicycling, PBOT will be re-striping N Willamette Blvd from N Rosa Parks to N Woolsey to include a shoulder area on the south (bluff) side of the street for transit access and pedestrian space.

The Portland Terminal Railway Company (PTRC) and the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will be completing street and railway repair at the train tracks on NW 9th Avenue between NW Overton Street and NW Naito Parkway.
PBOT is updating TRN-8.08 and Encroachment Manual to allow for the use of electric vehicle charging cord covers in the public right-of-way.

Simpson Greenway/42nd Ave Crossing

This project will add a new neighborhood greenway on NE 41st Ave from Holman to Simpson Ct, Simpson Ct from 41st to Simpson St, and Simpson St from Simpson Ct to 55th. This will connect the existing Holman Greenway and the upcoming 50s Greenway in the Cully neighborhood.

The Portland Bureau of Transportation paved SE 50th Avenue from SE Division to SE Hawthorne streets. All corners that did not meet ADA standards were updated. These two actions will prevent further pavement deterioration and will improve overall street accessibility.

Errol Heights Street Improvement Project

The Errol Heights Street Improvement Project will pave the neighborhood’s gravel streets, add sidewalks to the two main east-west routes through the neighborhood, add street lights, address drainage issues, and improve water quality in Johnson Creek.
