Portland, Ore. — Make your way to Collective Oregon Eateries on Southeast 82nd Avenue at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 6, for an informative and engaging community kickoff and information session on the new Sustainability and Climate Commission (SCC). You’ll learn more about the process, scope and work of the commission, and the timeline for recruiting and seating future commissioners. You can also provide your thoughts through an engaging, no-pressure activity designed to gather additional community input for the formation of the SCC.
The SCC will be a new governance structure for climate action in Portland. It also will serve as the official climate connection to other governance bodies at the City of Portland.
