Every Wednesday morning PBOT will be popping up with fresh coffee and Rose Lane SWAG for anyone who rides transit, bikes or walks into downtown.
We will rotate locations to cover the major parts of Downtown.
We will share locations here on our website as they are confirmed, and via text so make sure to text WEDNESDAY to 888-520-0526 to get the weekly details.

Each event will give away a limited number of $50 Kuto credits! Just scan the back of the Kuto card and have $50 to spend at participation restaurants and retailers all over downtown. First come first served!
- You must scan the QR code on the day of the event.

Ride Every Wednesday to win
Win prizes even if you can’t make it to a pop-up. Each week we’ll ask you via text if you rode transit, biked or walked to downtown that Wednesday. If you did you’ll be entered to win a gift card to a Downtown business.
Beyond Wednesday, we hope you ride the bus, MAX, Streetcar, or bike and walk to work every trip.
What are Rose Lanes?
The Rose Lane Project is creating a faster, more reliable transit network riders can count on. Rose Lane projects use a variety of signs, signal changes, and pavement markings (sometimes red) to give buses and streetcars priority so they don’t get stuck in traffic. Rose Lanes not only help riders have a better journey today, they also encourage more people to ride transit in the future. This is critical to reach our city’s goals around climate and equity.

Thanks for participating in our Ride Every Wednesday campaign by signing up for texts!
We will send 3-5 texts each week to help you make the most of Every Wednesday, as well as information about fun events happening in Downtown.
Standard text fees apply for each message.
We will never share your contact information.
We will only text between 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Only non-driving trips are eligible for Ride Every Wednesday rewards. This includes,

Weekly Prize Drawings
Each week, March through April 2023 we will do a prize drawing for people participating in our Ride Every Wednesday text campaign.
How it works
- Join our text campaign by texting "WEDNESDAY" to 888-520-0526.
- Take transit, walk or bike to downtown on Wednesdays.
- Look for a text from us on Wednesday asking how you got into downtown, you must respond by end of day Wednesday to be eligible to win.
- If you took transit, walked or biked you will be eligible for a $25 giftcard.
- Winners will be randomly selected and notified within 48 hours.

Drawing rules
DRAWING PERIOD
The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) Ride Every Wednesday begins on march 8, 2023 and ends on April 26, 2023. By replying to texts from 888-520-0526 and submitting an entry, each contestant agrees to these rules. The odds of winning this contest are determined by the number of entries submitted by the contestant against the number of total contestants and entries.
WHO MAY ENTER
This contest is open to people who reside or work in Portland, Oregon.
RULES
By texting the keyword to 888-520-0526, the contestant opts into receiving text messages from PBOT. Message and data rates may apply. Contestant can always text STOP to 888-520-0526 to cancel or opt out. Terms and privacy policy are available at slkt.io/7334.
DRAWING PRIZES
Each week contests who take transit, bike or walk to Downtown will be eligible to win a $25 Visa gift card.
WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
Weekly randomized drawings for names of winners will be conducted. Winners will be notified within three business days of their name being drawn. If they accept to receive the prize, their name will be displayed on the contest website as well as other PBOT promotions. Winners will be notified via phone call or text at the phone number provided by the contestant when they opt in to receiving texts. If the winner does not respond within 24 hours, the winner will be disqualified and contest organizers will select a new winner at random. Winners will be asked to provide a mailing address for prize delivery or a street address if it is more efficient to deliver the prize directly to the address. PBOT reserves the right to limit one prize per contestant during the entire duration of the contest.
