Apply for a Social Games permit

Service
The City’s Social Games Permit Program regulates the operators of social games, restricting location, age, dollar amount of play, and other rules to protect the public peace, safety, and morals. A person or business that wants to operate a social game must have a permit from the Revenue Division.

A social game is a game, other than a lottery, between players in a private business, private club or place of public accommodation where no house player, house bank or house odds exist and there is no house income from the operation of the social game.

The annual permit fee is $500 per location and is nonrefundable.
