We support city livability goals by helping to finance infrastructure improvements, and supporting the regulatory efforts of other city bureaus. We use Charter-granted authority to assess property for local improvements, system development charges, and code violations.
Policy documents on assessments and liens
You may submit a Lien Assessment Objection form if you received a Notice of Hearing or Notice of Proposed Assessment letter.

This is a fee-based service that's usually used to do searches as part of real estate transactions. For one time or infrequent searches, we recommend contacting a title company to perform the search for you.
