Apply for the Downtown Business Incentive (DBI) Credit

Eligible businesses may apply for the Downtown Business Incentive credit if they enter into a new lease, renew a current lease, or own and occupy building space in the sub-districts of Lower Albina, Lloyd, Downtown, or Old Town/Chinatown and meet other annual requirements.

Applying for the Downtown Business Incentive credit should take no more than 15 minutes.

Instructions for applying by mail, fax, or in person

1. Verify your business meets the credit requirements

Review the credit requirements and sub-district boundaries to verify your business is eligible to apply for the credit.

2. Download and fill out the credit application

IMPORTANT: Download and save the form to your computer, then open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader to complete and print. Using your web browser to complete the form may result in incorrect form calculations and other issues.

3. Submit the completed credit application with supporting documents to us
