Planning work by the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) to create a parking permit program for the Eliot neighborhood.

Exploring future potential transit service to Montgomery Park in NW Portland and to Hollywood Town Center in NE Portland, and opportunities for housing and jobs in these corridors and areas. While work on the alignments to Hollywood has concluded, work on NW area continues in Summer and Fall 2023.

Off-road Cycling Master Plan

BPS recently completed the Off-road Cycling Master Plan, providing a conceptual framework for development of off-road cycling facilities throughout the city. Building these facilities will require significant additional site-specific planning, community involvement, environmental review and funding.
Street Plaza Program

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is developing a permanent program for public street plazas. Plazas give right-of-way space back to pedestrians. They also provide space for more outdoor seating, events, and programming open to the public.
