Development Services Center hours adjusted during southbound Interstate 5 closure
Services in the Development Services Center at 1900 SW 4th Ave. will be available between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting Sept. 15, for the duration of the southbound I-5 closure. After I-5 reopens, the normal 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays will resume.

The Fields Park remains closed for cleaning until further notice. Deconstruction and remediation work continue. There remains an active fire investigation. Clean-up activities on streets near the site were undertaken last weekend.
Northwest Naito Parkway reopens to most traffic, though some detours remain in place. Demolition and remediation activities continue. The Fields Park remains closed. The public is urged to continue to stay a safe distance away from the site.
Summary: The Centennial Mills water tower building is almost completely demolished. City officials expect railroad operators to resume freight traffic and passenger service near the site soon. The site is still hazardous. Avoid the area.
