Tree Attachment Permits

Apply for a permit to attach objects to Street Trees. There are several options for applying including; online, mail, and in person.

When is a permit required?

A permit is required for attaching objects to street trees, including cables and bracing. Please read further information on whether the trees qualify for the permit. No permit is required for attaching objects to private property trees.

Attaching ornamental lights requires an Ornamental Tree Lighting Application.
