Office to Residential conversions and seismic upgrade options

  • Finalize Vulnerable Building types, seismic upgrade requirements,
  • Assign seismic hazard and structural performance standard for the different vulnerable building types
  • Review requirements and seismic hazard related to liquefaction hazard - Jason Butler-Brown (PPD Site Development Supervising Engineer) will provide some background and recommendations
  • Develop list of non-structural items 
  • Propose timeframe for sunsetting of the Alternate seismic improvement standards
