Once your permit is issued, you can use DevHub to:
- Schedule/cancel/reschedule inspections
- View and download inspection results
- Be alerted to required special inspections
Use your IVR or your permit number to schedule inspections and get results
Permits are tracked and inspections scheduled in the system using an assigned Interactive Voice Response (IVR) number. Your IVR number is distinct from your permit number. The fastest way to schedule an inspection is to use this IVR number, listed in the lower left-hand corner of your permit. If you are unsure of your IVR number, you can still use your permit number to schedule inspections.
Viewing, selecting and scheduling an inspection
Sign into DevHub to schedule your inspection. For guidance on how to sign in and access your DevHub user account, please review the DevHub Sign In Quick Step Guide.
Follow these steps to schedule an inspection in DevHub:
- Select the Inspections option from the DevHub PDX menu.
- Search using your IVR number, located at the bottom left corner of your permit.
- Verify that the result is the correct permit and click the Select button.
- Scroll down to and click the Schedule button next to the inspection you want.
- Verify the information entered from your profile.
- Choose the inspection date and click Schedule.
Please verify that the information provided is correct and make changes as needed. If you have a lockbox, enter the code in each box. Enter the location of the lockbox and any additional relevant comments in the Message field (for example: dog on-premise).
Once your inspection is scheduled, a confirmation number will be provided.
View inspection results
Once an inspector has completed your inspection(s), the results are uploaded and available on DevHub.
Results can be viewed by clicking the Results button. A new tab will open and the inspection report will be generated. View or save the report.
Cancel a scheduled inspection
If you wish to cancel a scheduled inspection, open the Inspections Scheduling & Results page, select the Cancel button for the inspection, then confirm the cancellation.
DevHub is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, except for a small amount of time on first Friday evenings for maintenance. If you have difficulty scheduling an inspection through DevHub, you may also schedule an inspection through the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. Staff members can also be contacted during business hours for assistance.
