BRIEFING - Interstate Bridge Replacement Program - Quarterly Update

The Interstate Bridge Replacement program will present an update on the cultural resource team’s progress. The presentation will provide a Section 106 overview and update on cultural resources portal access; key steps in the programmatic agreement process; an overview of the Second Formal Draft Programmatic Agreement; upcoming opportunities and deadlines for comment; and a Q&A.

Design Advice Request (DAR) meeting for a proposal to demolish a contributing structure in the South Portland Historic District and to replace it with an addition to the adjacent non-contributing building. The structure proposed to be demolished is located at 118 SW Porter St. It is an approximately 930 SF one-and-a-half-story bungalow style house built in 1908 whose historic name is the Lucretia Nasts House. The adjacent non-contributing building to which the addition would be added sits to the east of the Lucretia Nasts House. It is an approximately 4,405 SF, two-story brick building built in 1978. The proposed addition is two-stories with a primary pedestrian entrance located on SW 1st Ave with a garage and secondary access on SW Porter St. The combined site is located at the intersection of SW 1st Ave and SW Porter St.
