The City of Portland’s digital document management system for reviewing development permits will begin to include public works permits, starting in March.
The City’s ongoing permit improvement efforts identified that adding public works permits to ProjectDox is an important step toward a more seamless and holistic review of complex construction projects. This application will allow for a more consistent and transparent review process for public works permits. Customers and permit reviewers will be able to access their ProjectDox account 24 hours a day, respond directly to comments and corrections on projects that are under review, and see where the permit is in the review cycle.
“Including public works permits in the evolution of our online permit review platforms is essential to providing more efficient service to customers and ensuring the timely completion of development projects,” said David Kuhnhausen, interim director of Portland Permitting & Development.
More information will be provided when the new feature is available in March.
The City of Portland is committed to providing efficient and effective digital solutions for managing permits and development projects. For further updates or questions about this improvement, please contact PPD.ePlans@portlandoregon.gov.
