This guide outlines steps to create a Development PDX (DevHub) account. sign In to access DevHub online permitting services, and sign out of DevHub. This page also includes steps to change a PortlandOregon.Gov user account password and retrieve a forgotten username.

Create Account & Sign In Steps for Development Hub PDX

A Development Hub PDX (DevHub) user account with PortlandOregon.Gov credentials is required to access DevHub's online permitting services.

  1. From an internet browser, go to Development Hub PDX (DevHub): https://devhub.portlandoregon.gov.
  2. Select Sign In/Register from the DevHub PDX menu. Note: As an alternative, you may use the other sign in links shown on the DevHub Welcome page.

  • New Users: select the Create a New Account button on the Sign-in page and follow the user account set up steps. When finished, sign in with your new username and password. 
  • Existing Users: enter your PortlandOregon.gov username and password on the Sign In page.
  1. After signing in, select My Profile from the DevHub PDX menu to update contact information and add relevant active licenses (such as CCB or BCD).
  2. To save changes to your DevHub profile, click the Update button.

  1. Return to your DevHub home pageby selecting DevHub Home from the DevHub PDX menu.

Sign Out of Development Hub PDX

To sign out of DevHub, you must select your account name (shown at the top right of the screen) and then select Sign Out.

Note: Simply closing the browser window will not sign you out of DevHub.

What If I Forgot My Username or Password?

If you do not remember your username or password, select the link at the bottom of the PortlandOregon.gov Sign In page to request an email with your account information. You will receive your username along with a temporary password to complete sign in.

How do I Update My PortlandOregon.gov Password or Account Information?

  1. From an internet browser, go to Sign-In: https://www.portlandoregon.gov/myaccount.cfm?login=1.
  2. Enter your current PortlandOregon.gov User Name, Password, and select Sign-In. 
  3. From the Contact Form you can update your name, e-mail address, username and password. 
  4. Select Submit. 
  5. This will take you to the Portland.gov website. From the internet browser, go to Development Hub PDX (DevHub): https://devhub.portlandoregon.gov.
