Administrative Rule Adopted by Portland Parks & Recreation Pursuant to Rule-Making Authority

RULE
Effective immediately, Glenfair Park shall be open from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily.
RATIONALE
Glenfair Park, is a 5.08 acre neighborhood park located at NE 154th Ave & Davis St. In the past few years, crime, disorder and misuse of Glenfair Park facilities has increased including incidents of unlawful drug and alcohol use, “shots fired,” unauthorized after-hours use, littering and damage to park areas. Many of these problems occur during hours of darkness and negatively impact the park and the immediate neighborhood areas. The proposed rule is supported by the Glenfair Neighborhood Association and park neighbors. This measure is one among others being implemented at Glenfair Park to prevent and manage park misuse.

Pursuant to Portland City Code 20.04.050, the above rule is hereby adopted.
