FIN-1.11 - FY 2005-06 Fall Supplemental Budget

BCP-FIN-1.11

The Council finds:

1. As defined by ORS 294.480, conditions exist that require the City of Portland to prepare a supplemental budget. The Budget Officer of the City of Portland submitted a supplemental budget in the amount of $14,578,611 to the Multnomah County Tax Supervising and Conservation Commission (TSCC) on November 15, 2005.

2. The TSCC held a public hearing on November 29, 2005 and subsequently certified the supplemental budget.

3. Pursuant to certification by the TSCC, the City of Portland’s Fall FY 2005-06 supplemental budget should be adopted by the City Council, the resources and requirements of the various funds should be amended, and the specified appropriations should be made in accordance with the attached exhibits to implement the proposed projects and activities.

NOW, THEREFORE, the Council directs:

a. The supplemental budget, as certified by the Multnomah County Tax Supervising and Conservation Commission, is hereby adopted.

b. The actions amending the FY 2005-06 budget contained in this ordinance are binding City policy.

c. Appropriations, resources and requirements by fund are hereby amended in accordance with Exhibits 1-5 as attached.
