This dashboard is a representation of shooting incidents where a firearm was discharged and reported to the Portland Police Bureau. The report is updated approximately 15 days after the end of the month.
You can save a PDF or image copy of the report using the filters you selected. To do so, click the “Download” button the lower-right hand corner of the report. Then click on “PDF” or “Image” and follow the instructions in the pop-up window.
In October 2018 the Portland Police Bureau initiated a new process to collect, store, and track information related to gun violence. This dashboard is a representation of shooting incidents where a firearm was discharged and reported to the Portland Police Bureau. It can be filtered based on firearm-related injuries, but does not include incidents with a firearm-related suicide nexus, attempted or completed. Gun violence data prior to 2019 was not tracked using the same criteria and is not available for comparison.
