Update #2 Man Killed in Hazelwood Neighborhood Crash Identified

The pedestrian involved in this fatal crash that occurred at Southeast Stark Street and Southeast 139th Avenue is identified as Eh Ner Mu, 37, of Portland.  No further information will be released at this time.

On Sunday, July 12, 2026 at 1:42 a.m., Portland Police Officers assigned to East Precinct responded to a report of a crash at Southeast Stark Street and Southeast 139^th Avenue. When they arrived, they found an adult male pedestrian deceased at the scene. 

The involved driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. 

The Portland Police Traffic Division MCT is responding to investigate the crash. During the investigation, Southeast Stark Street is closed between Southeast 138^th Avenue and Southeast 143^rd Avenue.
