One person is deceased following a shooting in the Glenfair Neighborhood.

On Monday, June 8, 2026, at approximately 2:00 p.m., officers assigned to the Portland Police Bureau's East Precinct responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 16000 block of Southeast Stark Street. When they arrived, officers located an adult male deceased inside an apartment from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers arriving.
Detectives with PPB's Homicide Unit are responding to investigate.
Anyone with information about this case, who has not talked with police, is asked to submit a tip. The case number is 26-166292.
