PPB Needs Public's Help Locating Missing Endangered Man

On Saturday, May 30, 2026, at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a care facility in the 5000 block of Northeast 57th Avenue and learned resident Pema Dorjee left the residence around the noon hour and had not been seen since. Detectives are concerned about his well-being due to his cognitive decline and the amount of time he has been away.

Dorjee is described as an Asian male, approximately 5'0 and 112 lbs. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue vest.

Dorjee typically wears glasses and uses a walker. He speaks Tibetan and very little English.

Anyone who sees Dorjee is urged to call 911. If anyone has information about him that may help in the search, please email missing@police.portlandoregon.gov. Please reference case number 26-157175.
