Two people were arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred during an event at a Southeast Portland park.

On April 5, 2026, at approximately 6:10 p.m., officers responded to reports of a non-injury shooting at Parklane Park, located in the 15000 block of Southeast Main Street. At the time of the incident, numerous families and children were attending an Easter egg hunt at the park.
Investigators learned that one of the suspects had been involved in multiple verbal and physical altercations, including one with a second suspect. The two suspects left the area only to return a short time later. One of the suspects allegedly fired multiple rounds into the air and in the direction of the crowd. One vehicle was struck by gunfire. No injuries were reported.
Through the investigation, officers identified the suspects as 25-year-old John P. Moro and 33-year-old Briana M. Tucker. Over the weekend, with assistance from the Milwaukie Police Department, both suspects were taken into custody.
Moro was transported to the Multnomah County Detention Center (MCDC) and lodged on the following charges: Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Tucker was lodged on the following charge: Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
The investigation remains ongoing and additional charges are possible. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact PPB.
