Portland Police Major Crimes Unit Detectives are seeking public assistance identifying a suspect in a stabbing investigation.

On Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11:40 p.m., Portland Police officers assigned to Central Precinct and the Entertainment Detail responded to a report of someone stabbed at Northwest 13th Avenue and Northwest Hoyt Street. When they arrived, with EMS, they found an adult female with an apparent stab wound to her torso. She was transported to the hospital, treated, and released.

The suspect left the scene before police arrived and no immediate arrests were made.

The Portland Police Major Crimes Unit has assumed the case and has obtained images of the suspect captured by a surveillance system. PPB is attempting to identify the suspect seen in these images.
