A pedestrian killed in a crash in the area of Southeast 122nd Avenue and Southeast Ash Street has been identified.

The pedestrian killed in a crash in the area of Southeast 122nd Avenue and Southeast Ash Street on August 3, 2025, has been identified as 50-year-old Willie Talimao Jr.

The investigation revealed that Talimao was struck while crossing Southeast 122nd Avenue from the east. 

No further information will be released at this time.

Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle

On Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 10:06 p.m., officers from the East Precinct responded to a call of a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Southeast 122nd Avenue and Southeast Ash Street. Upon their arrival, officers found the pedestrian seriously injured and attempted life-saving measures. The pedestrian was transported by paramedics to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

The Portland Police Bureau Major Crash Team is responding to the scene to investigate. During the investigation, Southeast 122nd Avenue will be closed between East Burnside Street and Southeast Stark Street.
