The Portland Police Bureau needs the public’s help in identifying an assault suspect.

On Thursday, April 24, 2025, at approximately 12:10 a.m., Central Precinct officers responded to reports of a disturbance in the area of West Burnside Street and Northwest Broadway. When they arrived, officers found an adult female suffering from injuries to her head and leg. Before she was transported to the hospital for treatment, the woman told officers she was walking down the street when she was approached by an unknown male who assaulted her. The male punched her and then proceeded to kick her and stomp on her once she was on the ground. The suspect reportedly uttered a racially charged comment during the unprovoked attack.
