Good afternoon! As anticipated, we are seeing large crowds at Pioneer Courthouse Square today. Officers are on hand, including our Dialogue Officers, to help facilitate a safe event for everyone. A march has just begun and we're helping with traffic control on SW Broadway now. (A photo or video was included.)

We're sincerely grateful to participants who are working with our Dialogue Officers and sharing information about the plan. That has allowed us to get officers ahead for traffic control to ensure safety for participants and road users. (A photo or video was included.)

Due to the size of the march, there are several streets closed to vehicles in Downtown Portland. Right now the affected areas are around SW Broadway and Alder, south to SW Madison, and SW 2nd and 3rd, SW Madison to Jefferson Streets. Monitor this page for updates!

The march lead is now at SW Jefferson St and SW Park Avenue. We anticipate the march to use the South Park Blocks north. Several blocks remain blocked in the downtown core. We are working with @trimet and do anticipate some delays. More updates will be posted here, so stay tuned! (A photo or video was included.)

The march has headed back into Pioneer Courthouse Square. SW Broadway and Yamhill is still closed due to the tail of the march working its way that direction.
