The Portland Police Bureau, in conjunction with local public safety agencies, is hosting the 4th annual Women in Public Safety event. The event will be this Saturday, March 8, 2025, 10 a.m. to 2 pm. at the PPB Training Facility, located at 14912 NE Airport Way. Admission is free.
Representatives from law enforcement include: Portland Police Bureau, Bureau of Emergency Communications, Gresham Police, Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office, Portland State University Police, Lake Oswego Police Department, West Linn Police, Milwaukie Police, Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, Oregon City Police, Tigard Police, Hillsboro Police, Beaverton Police, Eugene Police, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Cresa 911, Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Clark County Jail and Camas Police.
Representatives from Portland Fire & Rescue, Gresham Fire and AMR will also be present.
Come meet K9 dogs from three different agencies as well! The event is a fun, informative and valuable for anyone who seeks more information about a career in these fields. It is open to everyone, and people of all ages are welcome to attend. Family and friends are also welcome.
