A pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run crash on North Marine Drive has been identified.

The pedestrian killed in the crash that occurred on October 23, 2025, in the Kenton Neighborhood crash has been identified as Nicole Lorraine Schuster, 39, of Portland. Her family has been notified of her death. This investigation is continuing.

On Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 1:27 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to a report of a person down in the 2600 block of North Marine Drive. When they arrived, they located an adult female deceased at the scene. Preliminary investigation determined that she was likely struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle left the scene and has not been located. No immediate arrests were made.

The Portland Police Traffic Division Major Crash Team responded to assume the investigation. During the investigation, North Marine Drive is closed between North Force Avenue and North Portland Avenue.
