The pedestrian struck and killed on I-405 on November 28, 2025, has been identified as Joshua L. Spicer, 36, of Portland. His family has been notified of his death.

No further information will be released at this time.

Traffic #Alert: Pedestrian Struck on Interstate 405

On Friday, November 28th, 2025 at approximately 1:40 a.m., Portland Police Officers assigned to Central Precinct responded to a report of a pedestrian on Interstate 405 near South Corbett Avenue. The pedestrian, an adult male, was struck by a vehicle and is deceased. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with investigators.

The Portland Police Traffic Division Major Crash Team is responding to investigate. During the investigation, Interstate 405 is closed at the split at Northbound Interstate 5 and will remain closed for several hours.

The PIO is not responding to the scene. Additional information will be released when appropriate.
