Crash Involving A Portland Police Officer

A Portland police officer was sent to a local hospital to be evaluated after a crash involving another motorist.

On Monday, November 10, 2025, at 4:24 p.m., an officer from the North Precinct was patrolling in the Rose City Park neighborhood when they were involved in a crash with another driver. The crash happened in the intersection of Northeast 57th Avenue and Northeast Stanton Street.

Neither speed nor impairment played a role in the crash. The vehicle the officer was driving had an airbag deployment, and because of this, the officer went to a local hospital to be evaluated. The driver of the other involved vehicle did not suffer any injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle was issued a citation for careless driving.
