On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at approximately 8:20 a.m., PPB officers began the execution of a search warrant in the 3300 block of Southeast 90th Place. The search warrant was related to a stolen property investigation that is ongoing at this time. When officers arrived at the location, they took three individuals into custody, but officers believed there to be additional people barricaded inside the home and refusing to exit. SERT and CNT responded to the scene to assist.

Over the course of the next several hours, SERT and CNT worked to get the additional individuals into custody. Two people eventually came out of the home. In total, five people were taken into custody connected to this incident.

Impacted roads will be opening shortly. PPB appreciates the patience of people who live and work in the area.

The Portland Police Bureau's Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) are responding to the Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood.

On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at approximately 8:20 a.m., PPB officers began the execution of a search warrant in the 3300 block of Southeast 90th Place. People in the area are asked to remain indoors during this incident. Streets will be closed as police work to bring a suspect into custody safely.
