North precinct covers over 58 square miles in Portland. It's a very long kind of narrow area. North Portland has a real history of resilience and just phenomenal people who live here, who work here. And our officers reflect that as well. They come to work with passion, with compassion, empathy, and just a level of grit and determination to serve this really wonderful community.
