What an amazing day! PPB hired 16 officers, 1 PS3 and recognized 7 new professional staff. More hiring to come in the following months.

"Today was probably one of the best days I’ve had as Chief: We hired 16 police officers, 1 Public Safety Support Specialists and recognized 7 new professional staff members. We also promoted two officers to the rank of detective. Thank you to our recruitment team, background investigators, everyone in Personnel and the Strategic Communications Unit who are working so hard on our hiring effort. We hope to have several more larger hiring events moving forward and I am excited about the hope this brings." - Chief Chuck Lovell
