The Portland Police Bureau is honored to be working with the Mexican Consulate in Portland on promoting the civil and human rights of women and girls in our state, regardless of their immigration status and country of origin.
As a culture and a society, we aim to honor our grandmothers, mothers, sisters, and daughters and their right to a safe, prosperous, and thriving living and working environment. We want to ensure that their ability to access and navigate the justice system and victims' support services is as culturally and linguistically appropriate and respectful. As a police bureau, we are committed and dedicated to serve all community members, and we are here to be your resource and support. Our police officers, investigators, and victim specialists are here to serve you and your families. Any kind of violence is unacceptable. If you need help call us to 911 for emergency calls and at 503-823-3333 for non-emergency situations. Remember you are not alone; we are here for you! Violence against women is a collective responsibility!
We thank the Mexican consulate for the partnership and guidance and look forward to many years of mutual trust and partnership.
