On October 12, the Portland Committee on Community-Engaged Policing will be hosting Independent Monitor, LLC for a virtual town hall to gather community input on PPB's response to the 2020 protests.

Under the Settlement Agreement, Independent Monitor, LLC was hired by the City to "critically assess the City’s response to crowd control events in 2020 in a public-facing report.” Community input will inform IMLLC's assessment and result in recommendations and ongoing training plans.

The town hall will be held as a special PCCEP meeting on October 12, 2022 from 6:00 pm - 8:30pm.
