On March 16, 1980, at about 11:15 p.m., Officers responded to 1117 SW Stark Street, Apt# 221 (which was the Fairfield Hotel), to the reports of a dead body. Upon arriving at the location, the victim, Thomas Bruce Myers, a  29-year-old white male, was found deceased due to homicidal violence.
