Case# 04-107794

On November 10, 2004, at 5:18 a.m., Officers responded to 3707 SE 33rd Avenue, on reports of an assault in progress. Upon arrival, they found the victim, Robert Valentino Cespedes, a 35-year-old white male, lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Mr. Cespedes was still alive when officers found him and had him transported to a local hospital. Mr. Cespedes initially survived his gunshot wound, but on November 15, 2007, died from seizures as a result of the gunshot.

Witnesses had seen two SUV’s leaving the scene shortly after the shooting. One was described as being a dark blue Dodge that was headed South on SE 33rd Avenue toward SE Francis Street.
