Case #87-23596

At approximately 2:30 am on March 6, 1987, a woman in the area of the 3700 block of SE 32nd Avenue discovered her boyfriend, Daniel Ruiz, a 37-year-old Hispanic man, deceased in his apartment. Autopsy results revealed that Mr. Ruiz had died from blunt force trauma.

 

Daniel Ruiz was reported to have been a regular user of heroin. Mr. Ruiz was last seen by his friends late in the evening of March 4 at his apartment.

Witnesses may contact Cold Case Homicide Unit investigators directly at (503) 823-0400. To remain anonymous, witnesses may provide information through Crime Stoppers of Oregon.
